1976 - TOMMY Bolin died of a drug overdose at the age of 25, today, aged just 25. one of the most endearing and talented musicians i have ever met, the American-born guitarist first played with Zephyr, from 1969 to 1971, then the James Gang. from 1973 through 1974, and finally Deep Purple, from 1975 to 1976, in addition to doing solo work.
